Harness the potential of pro bono legal representation and make a difference in the lives of the indigent. We have 140 active lawyers across 16 states in Nigeria. By volunteering, you’ll be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective pro bono legal representation.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Pro Bono Legal Representation: Help represent indigent individuals in court.
- Legal Advisory for SMEs: Provide legal guidance to small businesses.
- Training for Law Enforcement Officers: Facilitate training on contemporary legal practices.
- Advocacy and Public Interest Litigation: Engage in strategic litigations to foster systemic change.
Recent Volunteer Activities
- Facilitated the payment of fines for 19 inmates amounting to N4,650,000.
- Trained 22 new lawyers on the Police Duty Solicitors Scheme.
- Organized advocacy campaigns for non-custodial sentencing.
- Participated in period visits to 13 prisons, analyzing 1378 cases and providing necessary legal representation.
